About the Inferno Deluxe Edition category

In The Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri enters Hell to find his beloved Beatrice, guided by Virgil through the nine circles, witnessing sinners’ eternal punishments.

Inferno is a soul management game where players guide sinners to their respective circles in Hell. The board has two parts: one showing the nine circles and the soul registry, and the other depicting 14th-century Florence with its power games and intrigues.

Each turn has two phases:

Inferno Phase: Advance a soul through Hell, earning Infamy Points by guiding it to the correct circle.
Florence Phase: Choose to perform an action in the city (like adopting a street urchin or building a tower) or expose a sinner, sending their soul to Hell and advancing on the Hell registry.
With each death, Dante moves closer to Purgatory. The game ends when he reaches the gate, and the player with the most Infamy Points wins, being deemed untrustworthy.
