About the PARADISE - A Wastepunk Boardgame category

Paradise: A Wastepunk Board Game is a fast-paced skirmish game set in a savage, post-apocalyptic world where survival is brutal and glory is hard-earned. Combining eye-popping artwork with rich tactical gameplay, Paradise plunges players into the gritty chaos of the “wastepunk” genre, a unique blend of scrappy scavenger culture, decaying technology, and desperate ambition.

In Paradise, players take command of rival factions, each vying for control over a dying, war-torn land. Every faction consists of a tight-knit team of six miniatures: four powerful characters including a commanding leader, and two loyal henchmen. Each unit brings its own strengths, skills, and personality to the battlefield, creating endless combinations and strategies.

Gameplay unfolds over a series of rounds, with players alternating turns to activate one miniature at a time. Movement across the terrain is measured with custom range tools, allowing for precise positioning and calculated ambushes. Battles are resolved with tense, luck-driven dice rolls. Defeated characters are not eliminated but are knocked out instead, leaving room for dramatic comebacks and shifting momentum.

At the heart of every match is a dynamic objective system. Each scenario introduces Points of Interest scattered across the map, which must be captured, defended, or contested. Players also earn points by knocking out enemy units and using terrain features to their advantage.

A deck of powerful strategy cards adds even more depth, offering surprise maneuvers, game-changing effects, and tactical twists. These cards are drafted and dealt before battle begins, giving players the chance to shape their approach from the very start.

Victory goes to the first player to reach the required number of victory points, as determined by the chosen scenario. Whether through domination, cunning, or sheer aggression, only one faction will rise to claim what remains of the world.

Welcome to Paradise. It may be broken, but it is yours for the taking.
